Treatment time: Approximately 1.5–2 hours

Consultation required before your first treatment.

NOTE:

CanBridgeCare administers the first dose of iron infusion at a specialized clinic.

Because IV iron can cause serious hypersensitivity reactions, the initial dose must be administered in an appropriate specialized clinic.

Subsequent doses may be considered at other CanBridgeCare clinics and family doctors' offices only after the first dose has been administered at the specialized clinic and was well tolerated without an adverse reaction.

Your Safety Comes First

IV therapy is not a one-size-fits-all treatment. Before receiving an infusion, our team will review your health information and treatment needs to determine whether IV therapy is appropriate for you.

Your safety, comfort, and well-being are our priority throughout every appointment.
