Available Courses

Basic IV Cannulation

8 hours

Online ($250)

In-Person ($350)

This introductory course is designed for beginners and early-stage healthcare professionals with little or no IV experience. It provides a strong foundation in peripheral IV access through evidence-based theory, guided practice on high-quality simulation arms, and supervised clinical shadowing. During the shadowing component, the instructor performs IV insertions on real patients while participants observe the procedure in a safe and controlled clinical environment. Learners develop skills in vein anatomy, site selection, aseptic technique, equipment setup, and the step-by-step IV insertion process—building confidence before advancing to patient-based or advanced IV training. Upon completion, participants receive a Certificate of Completion to support their ongoing professional development.

Advanced IV Cannulation

8 hours

Online ($350)

In-Person ($600)

This course is intended exclusively for licensed and registered healthcare professionals authorized to initiate or manage IV therapy within their clinical scope of practice. Participants will receive practical instruction and guided practice in cannulation of the hand, forearm, and antecubital veins. The curriculum also addresses challenging scenarios, such as rolling veins, fragile veins in elderly patients, and edematous limbs. Additional modules include catheter stabilization, line maintenance, flushing, and safe catheter removal.
